"Mauritius is Proud to Participate in this 19th Edition of the India-Africa Conclave"

"India is one of the most trusted development partners of Mauritius, and is accompanying Mauritius in its quest to reach a higher level of development" mentioned Haymandoyal Dillum, CSK, High Commissioner of the Republic of Mauritius in India, in his message.

As an African country, which has deep rooted ties with India, Mauritius is proud to participate in this 19th edition of the India-Africa Conclave. We commend the Confederation of Indian Industry (CIl), for organising this august gathering, which has emerged as a key platform in furthering the India-Africa economic partnership. We have no doubt that this year again, the Conclave will open up new horizons for cooperation by building bridges between policy makers and business leaders from Africa and India across sectors.

India is one of the most trusted development partners of Mauritius, and is accompanying Mauritius in its quest to reach a higher level of development. This privileged relationship has been further reinforced by the signature of strategic bilateral agreements, such as the Comprehensive Economic Cooperation and Partnership Agreement (CECPA) in February 2021, which have contributed to boosting trade between the two countries as well as reinforcing the positioning of Mauritius as a gateway to other African countries.

We extend our best wishes to the Cll for a successful Summit.
