JECI and ISAJ Sign MOU to Strengthen India-Japan Educational Ties



Japan Education Center and Information (JECI) and Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ) have formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on June 18, 2024! This significant milestone was marked by the signing of the MOU by Capt. Raj Adhikary, President & CEO of JECI, and Dr. Sunil Kaul, Chairperson of ISAJ. 


This partnership is a testament to the growing collaboration between India and Japan in the fields of education and science. This partnership marks a significant milestone in our shared mission to promote educational and cultural exchange opportunities between India and Japan. Notably, the Indian Scientists Association in Japan (ISAJ) is honored to have His Excellency Ambassador of India to Japan, Shri Sibi George, as its esteemed Honorary Patron. As India and Japan continue to strengthen their bilateral cooperation in Science and Technology, exciting opportunities have emerged for Indian students to study in Japan, researchers to collaborate with Japanese research organizations and universities. In response to this rapidly evolving landscape, JECI recognized the urgency for a formal agreement between ISAJ to foster greater interaction among Indian students and researchers in Japan, as well as between Indian and Japanese researchers. 

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aims to create a platform where Indian high school, university, and college students can benefit from ISAJs expertise, gaining valuable knowledge to enhance their career prospects in Japan.


The MOU outlines our commitment to collaborate on various initiatives, including:

- Providing lectures, workshops, and insights on educational opportunities in Japan

- Promoting mutual understanding, academic exchange, and scientific cooperation between India and Japan

- Career guidance and insights into science and technology opportunities

- Knowledge of cutting-edge research and innovations in Japan

- Sharing knowledge on research development, scientific cooperation, and cultural exchange

- Networking opportunities with experienced scientists and researchers

- A deeper understanding of the global scientific community
