Infoter and KickSky Space Lab Sign MoU to Strengthen Space Sector Collaboration

Infoter (IT Pro Society Association, Hungary) and KickSky Space Lab (India) have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the space sector. The signing ceremony took place in New Delhi during the prestigious Raisina Dialogue conference, after a bilateral meeting with Péter Szijjártó, Hungary’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, underscoring the strategic significance of the collaboration.

The agreement aims to foster joint initiatives that promote the growth, development, and sustainability of the space sector. As part of the partnership, KickSky Space Lab will support selected Hungarian space startups through its accelerator program, providing them with the necessary technical, commercial, and financial assistance to scale globally. Infoter will facilitate access to European space infrastructure for KickSky’s startups, further strengthening the bridge between the Indian and Hungarian space ecosystems.
“The collaboration between Infoter and KickSky Space Lab represents a crucial step in advancing innovation and fostering international cooperation in the space sector,” said Albert Biró, Secretary General of Infoter. “By combining our expertise and resources, we aim to support emerging startups and drive technological advancements that benefit the entire industry.”
KickSky Space Lab, India’s first venture capital-backed space technology accelerator, provides early-stage startups with the tools to navigate challenges and succeed in the global market. “We are excited to partner with Infoter and support Hungarian startups in their journey to becoming global leaders in space technology,” stated Govindarajan D S, Founding Partner & Director of KickSky Space Lab.
Minister Péter Szijjártó highlighted the importance of international cooperation in space innovation: “Hungary is committed to strengthening its role in the global space economy. This partnership will provide new opportunities for Hungarian startups and foster collaboration between the Indian and Hungarian space sectors.”
The MoU is set to be in effect for an initial period of two years, with the possibility of extension. Both organizations will collaborate on resource and knowledge exchange, and joint projects that enhance visibility and contribute to the broader space economy.
The collaboration between the Indian and Hungarian space sectors continues to strengthen, with the upcoming Ax-4 Mission marking a significant milestone. As part of this mission, Hungarian astronaut will fly alongside an Indian astronaut on Axiom Space’s next private astronaut mission to the International Space Station (ISS).

During its visit to New Delhi, the delegation of the Infoter held meetings with key government, academic and business stakeholders in the space industry such as Invest India, IIT Delhi, SIA India, ISPA- Indian Space Association.

In light of this growing partnership, SIA-India’s team had an interaction with Inforter Nonprofit Kft., Albert Biró and Péter Kristóf, PhD. alongside István Szabó, Ambassador of Hungary and Levente Kardos, Economic & Commercial Counsellor. The discussions focused on enhancing cooperation between the Indian and Hungarian space industries, paving the way for future collaborative projects in space exploration and technology development.
