India Trend Fair 2024, to fuel the growth of Indian apparel exports to Japan


Japan India Industry Promotion Association (JIIPA) in association with Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) is organizing 14th India Trend Fair scheduled from 23-25 JULY 2024 at Shinjuku Triangle Square, Tokyo. 250 exporters from pan India are going to display vide variety of Indian Textile Products for Japan market and enhancing export to Japan. Beside this, Development Commissioner for Handlooms will be sponsoring 10 Artisans to demonstrate Textile based art at the exhibition.


India Trend Fair is an exclusive flagship event of the Indian Apparel & Home Furnishing sector, through which we have been building bridges of partnerships between the Indian Manufacturing and Exporting community and Buyers of Japan. The display profile of India Trend Fair features a wide range of value added products with special emphasis on the products designed to suit Japanese fashion trends and requirements.


Industrial and cultural exchanges between the Japan and India show no sign of stopping as they continue to gain momentum. The culture of fashion has been thriving especially strongly in response to the rapid growth in industrial and commercial relationships with a number of fashion events being staged nowadays. We have planned the India Trend Fair 2024 in Tokyo to intensify the focus on this area and create new perspectives on how to drive the process further to the benefit of everyone involved in the world of fashion. The scope of the Fair extends far beyond just textiles and materials to encompass a fusion of new fashion cultures.


Japan's trade is now experiencing the 'Indian boom'. Rapid trade expansion is occurring between the two countries, which is likely to fuel the growth of Indian apparel exports to Japan. India has the potential to handle the entire textile value chain in a much better way than its counterparts. Major textile and apparel makers in India are exploring prospects for enhancing bilateral trade between the two countries. Indian firms are also focusing on developing partnerships with Japanese firms to gain access to their fabric, and apparel market.
