The delegation will also tour educational institutions and incubators, highlighting the importance of innovation and the role of academia in bilateral trade relations.

Meetings with local state chambers, political leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, hoteliers, realtors, lawyers, tourism experts along with education and tech corporate executives are scheduled to deepen the understanding of regional markets and to discuss potential partnerships and investment opportunities.

The India Mission 2024 comes at a crucial time when the bilateral trade relationship between Canada and India has reached nearly US$ 9 billion, a testament to the growing economic synergy between the two nations. The mission aims to build on this momentum, identifying new avenues for collaboration, focusing on artificial intelligence, cleantech, agriculture and the education sector.
