Hungarian Embassy celebrated the Defence Forces Day on 17th May'24

The Embassy of Hungary and the Defence Attaché Office celebrated the Hungarian Defence Forces Day on Friday, 17th of May 2024 at the Ambassador’s residence. Foreign Defence Attaches and representatives of the Indian Armed Forces attended the reception. Lt. Col. Laszlo Kovari opened the event followed by a speech of H.E. István Szabó, Ambassador of Hungary who greeted the chief guest of the evening, AVM Prashant Mohan, VM. An exhibition of photographs about the everyday life and work of the Hungarian Defence Forces were on display for the guests along with paintings from the Hungarian military history. JNU students of Hungarian language presented the Hungarian Song. The evening concluded with an outstanding Hungarian dinner.
