Hungarian Companies Showcasing Innovative Solutions at Global Bio India'24

Hungarian Mission in New Delhi announced that five Hungarian companies are showcasing their cutting-edge solutions at the Global Bio India 2024 Exhibition. Organized by the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India, in collaboration with the Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC), the event will take place from September 12th to 14th at Hall No. 5, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.



This exhibition, centered around the theme of ‘Biotech Innovation Ecosystem’ and ‘Bio-manufacturing,’ will provide a prime platform for Hungarian startups and innovative companies in the medical and agrotechnical sectors to explore new collaborations and market opportunities in India. Hungarian participants are available for meetings throughout the exhibition.

JFermi Biotechnology specializes in the development and manufacturing of modular benchtop bioreactors. These innovative, cost-effective systems are designed for R&D laboratories and universities, offering exceptional performance and flexibility. Their non-invasive molecular diagnostics are set to revolutionize genetic diagnostic procedures, offering alternatives to traditional, often painful sampling methods. 

 

Biopesticide Ltd. has developed XOOPhage, a novel biopesticide targeting Xanthomonas oryzae pv. oryzae (XOO), the bacterium responsible for rice bacterial leaf blight. Their phage-based solution offers an effective, eco-friendly method to combat this devastating disease, with proven success in field trials resulting in significant disease reduction and yield improvement. 


Proofminder's platform leverages AI to analyze high-resolution drone images, providing growers with actionable insights and detailed reports on crop health and field conditions. Their technology aids in precision agriculture by offering solutions for plant population, weed detection, yield assessment, and more. Proven across four continents, Proofminder helps optimize field operations and enhance productivity. 

 

Water and Soil Ltd. presents the Water Retainer, an organically degradable soil conditioner that significantly reduces evaporation loss and improves soil moisture retention. This product is effective in both rain-fed and irrigated cultivation, enhancing yields and reducing water usage by up to 50%. 

 

Hungarian Mission in India invites organisations to visit Hungarian exhibitors and explore potential collaborations. The companies will be available for meetings throughout the exhibition from September 12th to 14th.
