29th Edition of CII Partnership Summit: A Global Platform for Progress and Collaboration

The 29th edition of the prestigious CII Partnership Summit 2024 is set to take place on December 2-3, 2024, with over 350 participants from 61 countries, marking yet another significant milestone in fostering international collaboration. Organized by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in collaboration with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, the summit promises to be a key event for discussions on global partnerships and growth.



Focus Areas: Partnerships for Progress

The summit will explore several vital themes across seven broad tracks: Trade, Future of Industrialisation, Sustainability and Climate Action, Technology and Innovation, Growth, Geoeconomic Framework, and Inclusion. These focus areas are designed to reflect the multi-dimensional approach needed for fostering collective progress in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

More than 30 global speakers from over 30 participating countries will participate in over 15 technical sessions. These discussions will be geared towards identifying solutions to pressing global challenges and will serve as a forum for sharing best practices in key sectors like trade, technology, and sustainability.


Keynote Addresses by Indian Ministers

The summit will be inaugurated by Mr. Piyush Goyal, the Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. Dr. S. Jaishankar, the Minister of External Affairs, Government of India, will deliver the Special Plenary Session under the theme "India and the World: Partnerships for Progress." Their speeches will underscore India’s growing role in global economic and diplomatic discussions, positioning the country as a key driver of international cooperation.


Global Representation at the Summit

The event will feature 11 overseas ministers from countries spanning across the globe, including ministers from Algeria, Bahrain, Bhutan, Israel, Italy, Nepal, Senegal, South Africa, Cambodia, Myanmar, and Qatar. These high-level dignitaries will join Indian government officials in discussing critical global issues and exploring partnerships for progress. Notable speakers include:
